Welcome to Eagley Infant School Nursery

At Eagley Infant School we have an established Nursery that forms an integral part of school. We offer children the opportunity to play, learn and progress in a stimulating environment and participate in school life. The Early Years Foundation Stage is about developing key learning skills such as listening, speaking, concentration, persistence and co-operation. We also work to develop early communication, literacy and numeracy skills that prepare our children for Reception and Key Stage One. During their time in Early Years children are provided with a curriculum that enables them to develop a broad range of knowledge in an environment that allows children to play, explore and practise new ideas and skills.

Admissions

Children can be admitted into Nursery in the September following their third birthday. 

Extended hours in our nursery

We try to offer as much flexibility as we can to help meet our parents' needs for the provision they prefer and require. Parents will receive a letter in advance where they can register their preferred combination of provision. 

All children are eligible for 15 hours funded by the Local Authority. Additional sessions are available at a cost of £13 per session. Lunches and lunchtime nursery is available at a cost of £7.

For families eligible for 30 hours funding lunches and lunchtime nursery is also available at a cost of £7.  This extends provision to 8.45am until 3.30pm.

Out of School Club is part of the Eagley family.  We accept nursery children in our club, which runs from 7.30am to 8.45am and 3.30pm until 6.00pm. After being admitted to Nursery children can also attend our holiday club which runs throughout the school holidays and half terms. The Early Years Club is based in the Early Years Unit and our school hall.
