Admissions

We welcome admissions from across Bolton.  Places are allocated according to the criteria which is explained in our Admissions Policy.

Open Day
We hold an open day for prospective parents of Nursery and Reception children during October> Also parents are welcome to contact school to arrange a time to visit and speak to the Headteacher or a member of our Senior Leadership team.

The Nursery

Children are normally admitted to the Nursery in the September following their third birthday.
Offers of places are usually made in Spring for the following September.  All children are entitled to receive a full year’s part time nursery education (15 hours) and children of working parents are entitled to 30 hours, which is LA funded. Also we offer wrap around care form 7.30am until 6.00pm, 50 weeks of the year. Provision we provide is flexible to meet each families needs.

Reception

Children are admitted during the Autumn Term of the educational year (1st September to 31st August) in which they reach their fifth birthday.

Parents are requested to register on the citizen portal which is part of the Bolton local authority website.    This is where you will be able to apply for a primary school place.  Bolton LA will offer places during the spring term according to preferences expressed.

More detailed information regarding the Nursery  and the School are presented at meetings for new parents which are held in school prior to the child's admission.  All children have the opportunity to visit the Nursery and Reception with their parents and to meet a member of the school team in their own setting before their admission.
