Week beginning 18th July
We would like to thank you all for your continued support throughout the year. Good luck to all the children who are leaving us to go to your new schools. We hope you enjoy the school holidays and we look forward to seeing you in September.

Week beginning 11th July
This week we have continued our beach theme. We have made our own ice-cream using our secret recipe. It was delicious. We have also been thinking about things we have enjoyed while we have been in Nursery. We hope you have enjoyed looking at our pictures on our reports.
Week commencing 4th July
This week we have been making sand pictures. We used our cutting skills to cut out our chosen shapes, we then glued our pictures and added different coloured sand.
We have also taken part in the sponsored Bounce. We enjoyed bouncing with our friends.
Week beginning 27th June
This week we have played in our new role-play area. We have dressed up in beach clothes and sold items in our beach shop. In the malleable tray we have been pouring sand into different containers using a range of funnels and scoops. We have also been thinking about how much we have grown and painted pictures of ourselves. To end our week we visited our new Reception classes and met our new friends and teachers.
Week beginning 20th June
This week we have listened to the story of "The Three Little Pigs". We have been investigating how hard we needed to blow to move small balls around the water tray and we have been building houses using small bricks and moon sand at the malleable table. In our creative work we have used straw to make pictures of houses and we have used paint and collage to create the Three Little Pigs.
On Wednesday we took part in our first sports day. We had lots of fun, running, jumping and balancing as part of different races. Thank you to all our families and friends who came to cheer and support us.
Week beginning 13th June
We have been listening to the story of Goldilocks and the Three Bears this week. On Tuesday we were surprised to find our table upside down and pens scattered on the floor when we arrived at Nursery. We then found a letter which was from Goldilocks. In the letter she apologised for making a mess in Nursery and she promised to try not to be naughty again.
As part of our activities this week we have explored making porridge too lumpy, too runny and just right and we tasted porridge. It was yummy! We have also practised our cutting and counting skills.
Week beginning 6th June
This week we have been reading and acting out the story "The Three Billy Goats Gruff". We have been thinking about using quiet, medium and loud voices and using them in our play. We have also been building bridges using different materials both indoors and outdoors. We have listened to other stories that begin "Once upon a time... and end with happily ever after."
Outdoors we have also been helping Mrs Clarkson get ready for Tatton Flower Show by planting some vegetables in our vegetable garden.
