This week we read Aliens in Underpants Save the World. We have been writing sentences about what we would do if we met an alien. We have been trying to remember to use finger spaces between words.
In maths we have been practising our counting skills. We learned how to double numbers and looked at a hundred square to find one more than and one less than.
In topic we read The Rainbow Fish and talked about how we are all different. We made our own rainbow fish and have displayed them in the hall.
This week we have been very busy! When we came into the classroom there were stars with our faces on and a glitter trail to lead the way.
We have been looking at the story 'Baboon on the Moon' in literacy. We have been re-telling the story and talking about what happens at the beginning, middle and end. We have been writing some sentences about the story too.
In maths we have been learning how to estimate. We learned all about taking a clever guess and had a go at estimating how much Alien food was in the pot.
